Empowering the Business with Low-Code

I finally understand the power of low-code first-hand.
It’s not just a new software solution.
It’s not just developing software faster.
It’s not just marketing buzz.
It’s a new world where any individual can and often should build their own software product - business leaders, analysts, product managers, sole proprietors, engineers…
There is a ton of great, high-value software out on the market today , but there is also an equal amount of low-value software, and there isn’t an out-of-the-box solution for many business problems. Shrinkflation has reduced the value prop for many offerings. Too many customers are stuck waiting on roadmaps that don’t deliver and paying for features they don’t need.
Instead of going back and forth with technical resources, spending heavily on specialized software, or compromising with generic solutions, it’s now possible for business operators to build and deploy products that are tailor-made to their own needs.
And better yet, most folks already have access to the #1 low-code platform in the world - Microsoft Power Platform - baked into their enterprise licenses, or they could have it for less than $50 a month - no minimum or contract. Compared to other enterprise solutions it’s essentially free, and the barrier to entry is lower than ever.
Over the past 15 years we saw a tectonic shift with cloud-based software empowering the business and allowing them to manage their own applications.
Now low-code will allow those same forward-thinking operators to build the software themselves, unlocking huge amounts of value for virtually unlimited use cases. It will no longer be building in Salesforce, NetSuite, or Anaplan, it will be savvy practitioners building their own version of Salesforce, NetSuite, or Anaplan.
After starting my own low-code journey with a project operations app that we use every day and beginning to deploy our first apps with clients, I can’t wait to see this movement continue to accelerate and continue to help our clients adopt this new paradigm.
